Three finalists for the job of University of Mary men’s basketball coach are scheduled to visit campus this week.

BISMARCK (AP) — Three finalists for the job of University of Mary men’s basketball coach are scheduled to visit campus this week.

They are Nebraska-Omaha assistant coach Randall Herbst, who’s a former University of North Dakota assistant; former Wisconsin-Green Bay coach Mike Heideman, who’s now a player development director at Washington State, and Peninsula (Wash.) College coach Pete Stewart, a native of Parshall and UND graduate.

Mary says the three were chosen from more than 100 applicants. The new coach will succeed Juno Pintar, who resigned in March.
