Napoleon wins golf tourney

Napoleon’s Trent Fettig and Brady Fettig led the Imperials to a first-place team finish in the Napoleon Imperials Class B boys’ golf meet at the Napoleon Country Club on Thursday. Trent Fettig shot a team low 39 on the first nine holes and followed up with a 43 on the second nine to place second individually (82). Brady Fettig shot an 18-hole total of 85 on the day to finish in fifth.

Napoleon’s Trent Fettig and Brady Fettig led the Imperials to a first-place team finish in the Napoleon Imperials Class B boys’ golf meet at the Napoleon Country Club on Thursday.

Trent Fettig shot a team low 39 on the first nine holes and followed up with a 43 on the second nine to place second individually (82). Brady Fettig shot an 18-hole total of 85 on the day to finish in fifth.

The Imperials top four golfers produced a score of 348, which was good enough to get past second-place finisher New Salem (351). Napoleon’s other two low scores were produced by Morgan Schwartzenberger (90) and Jonah Schwartzenberger (91).

New Salem’s Jared Kautzman was the meet’s medalist. Kautzman topped the leader board shooting a 78.
