Portion of Highway 9 near Kensal remains closed
Although water has receded from the roadway and bridge on N.D. Highway 9 west of Kensal, it will remain closed until North Dakota Department of Transportation officials are able to inspect the roadway and structure to ensure the area is safe after the recent flooding.
Although water has receded from the roadway and bridge on N.D. Highway 9 west of Kensal, it will remain closed until North Dakota Department of Transportation officials are able to inspect the roadway and structure to ensure the area is safe after the recent flooding.
During this time, barriers will be in place for the safety of the traveling public. NDDOT is currently allowing local traffic between the Melville and Kensal areas not affected by flooding issues. Other motorists are to use alternate routes.
