Woodmen hold dinner
Members of the James-town Modern Woodmen of America recently held a Heroes Dinner to raise money for the American Red Cross. The event, held on March 20, raised $7,370. This includes $2,500 from Modern Woodmen’s home office through the organization’s Matching Fund program. The money will be used for disaster relief.

The Matching Fund program offers Modern Woodmen camp members nationwide the chance to show their support of a community cause, organization or individual in need by partnering with community organizations and holding fundraisers.
Modern Woodmen matches money raised up to $2,500.
These fundraising projects contribute more than $6 million to community needs nationwide each year.
