Dickinson State reports record 494 graduates

Dickinson State University reports a record graduating class of 494 students from 18 states and 11 countries. Nevada educator and author Joseph Crowley told the graduates at the school’s commencement Saturday that he believes they are better prepared because of their global perspective.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Dickinson State University reports a record graduating class of 494 students from 18 states and 11 countries.

Nevada educator and author Joseph Crowley told the graduates at the school’s commencement Saturday that he believes they are better prepared because of their global perspective.

Crowley said Dickinson State has recognized that the world is a small place, though it faces large challenges.
