Autopsy shows victim shot twice

Authorities say an autopsy shows a man found dead in Dunn County last month was shot twice.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say an autopsy shows a man found dead in Dunn County last month was shot twice.

Authorities said it appears 49-year-old Neal Matejovsky of Dickinson was facing his killer at the time of the April 10 shooting.

Dunn County prosecutor Ross Sundeen said Matejovsky had a gunshot wound to the left side of the neck and another wound to the back of the left upper arm, where the bullet apparently traveled through his chest.

Authorities have charged 39-year-old Shane Patrick Miller with murder. The Texas man faces a July 1 preliminary hearing. His bail has been set at $1 million.

Benjamin Orf, who authorities said was Matejovsky’s stepson, has been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
