Arts Center offers garden series
Once again, the Arts Center is offering the art of gardening in a summer series at the recently planted Arts Park. The series called “You Too Can Learn About Plants” begins June 17 and continues through Aug. 12 and classes begin at 7 p.m.

All the classes are on Wednesday and participants need to bring a lawn chair.
June 17 — Planting to Attract Birds and Butterflies, with Dan Buchanan
June 24 — Prairie Flowers, with Paul Nyren
July 1 — Perennials in the Landscape, with John Zvirovski
July 8 — The Green Menace – Emerald Ash Borer, with Vern Quam and Sharon Bartels
July 22 — Tomato and Salsa, with Lance Brower and Eunice Sahr
July 29 — Replacements for Green Ash
Aug. 5 — Wildlife Habitat, with Alden Kollman
Aug. 12 — Upgrade Your Turf Grasses, with Ron Smith
There is no charge for any of the classes.
