Man and daughter face drug charges

Authorities say a Mayville man and his daughter face charges involving possessing or making methamphetamine and marijuana.

HILLSBORO, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a Mayville man and his daughter face charges involving possessing or making methamphetamine and marijuana.

The Traill County sheriff says 51-year-old Steve Schiebe was arrested Monday after a search of his rural home found evidence that meth was made in the garage. Schiebe faces charges that include possession and manufacture of meth

His daughter, 26-year-old Julie Schiebe, was arrested on charges that include possession of meth and marijuana, conspiracy to make meth and being a felon in possession of firearm.

Sheriff Mike Crocker said more arrests are possible.
