NDUS approves marketing money
The North Dakota University System plans to spend $800,000 over the next two years to market the state’s community colleges.
BISMARCK (AP) — The North Dakota University System plans to spend $800,000 over the next two years to market the state’s community colleges.
The money was appropriated by the 2009 Legislature. University spokeswoman Debra Anderson said it grew out of conversations involving Chancellor Bill Goetz and lawmakers.
Anderson said Odney Advertising was chosen to conduct the marketing campaign. She said Odney will get to work sometime after the new biennium starts July 1.
Anderson said the marketing campaign will involve broadcast, print, online and social networking as well as material college recruiters can use in public schools.
