Guthmiller accepted to university

Chantil Guthmiller from Buchanan, N.D., has been accepted to the University of Mary, Bismarck, starting the fall semester of 2009.

Chantil Guthmiller from Buchanan, N.D., has been accepted to the University of Mary, Bismarck, starting the fall semester of 2009.

Guthmiller, who graduated from Pingree-Buchanan High School, was active in basketball, volleyball, dance and golf. She earned recognition as a member of the National Honor Society, received hustle and defense awards in basketball and volleyball and named Student of the Month.

Guthmiller has yet to declare a major while attending the University of Mary.

She is the daughter of Kermit and Michelle Guthmiller of Buchanan.
