LaMoure defeats Ellendale

The LaMoure Legion Post 19 baseball team improved to 5-1 overall with a 10-0 win over Ellendale at LaMoure’s Townsend Field on Wednesday night.

Post 19’s Ben Holen pitched five shutout innings to earn the victory on the hill, while allowing no walks and striking out seven. LaMoure’s offensive produced 13 hits in the game, led by Gaige Dunn with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate.

A total of five LaMoure players posted multi-hit games.
