Fargo modifies LED sign rules
The Fargo City Commission has modified its three-month moratorium on the installation of LED signs at businesses.
FARGO (AP) — The Fargo City Commission has modified its three-month moratorium on the installation of LED signs at businesses.
Businesses will now be able to install light-emitting diode signs on their property as long as the signs are at least 150 feet away from property that is zoned residential.
Commissioners about a month ago implemented the moratorium after a dispute between Fargo businessman Steven Stremick and representatives of two neighborhoods worried about safety and light pollution.
