NDDOT seeks public comments

The North Dakota Department of Transportation seeks comments regarding the amendment to the 2009-2012 State Transportation Improvement Program for inclusion of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and Regular Transportation En-hancement projects in 2009.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation seeks comments regarding the amendment to the 2009-2012 State Transportation Improvement Program for inclusion of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and Regular Transportation En-hancement projects in 2009.

Barnes County projects include:

* Building restoration for the Midland Continental Depot, Wimbledon. The total cost is $197,000, to be paid using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds.

* Interpretive materials for the Midland Continental Depot, Wimbledon. The total cost is $175,000 to be paid using Regular Transportation Enhancement funds.

The public is invited to view the current State Transportation Improvement Program by visiting the NDDOT Web site at www.nd.gov and clicking on “more public,” then click on “Future Road Projects- 2009-2012 Final Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.”

Comments should be sent no later than July 23 to Paul Benning at NDDOT, 608 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58505-0700. Comments can also be sent via e-mail to pbenning@nd.gov with “STM Transportation Enhancement projects” in the subject line.
