LaMoure gets past Ellendale

LaMoure improved to 4-0 in sectional play with a 15-8 Legion baseball victory at Ellendale on Monday.

Ben Holen struck out six and walked five in picking up the win for Post 19 (9-2 overall, 4-0 section). At the plate, Holen went 1-for-3 and scored two runs.

Brett Hample had two hits, scored three runs and drove in one run. Ben Watkins went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, four runs and four RBI. Gaige Dunn had three hits, including a double and a triple, scored three runs and drove in four, and Cole Gentzkow had two doubles and three RBI.

Andy Wertz had three hits, including a double, and scored three runs for Ellendale. Donovan Flaherty had two hits and scored twice, John Sayler scored two runs, Devin Lenhoff had two RBI and Tyler West doubled and drove in two runs.
