Robberies in Fargo area may be related
Police say they believe armed robberies in West Fargo and nearby Moorhead, Minn., are related. That’s based on matching descriptions of the suspect and the similar nature of the robberies at Domino’s Pizza in West Fargo and Mellow Moods Pipe and Tobacco in Moorhead.
WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Police say they believe armed robberies in West Fargo and nearby Moorhead, Minn., are related.
That’s based on matching descriptions of the suspect and the similar nature of the robberies at Domino’s Pizza in West Fargo and Mellow Moods Pipe and Tobacco in Moorhead.
The robberies happened within an hour of each other Monday night. Police said in both instances, a man entered the business with a gun and demanded money.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the Moorhead store. No money was taken in the West Fargo robbery. No one was hurt.
