Miller Chillers, Tigers pick up victories
The Miller Chillers and Tarno Tigers picked up amateur baseball victories over the Beulah-Hazen BlackJaws on Saturday.
The Miller Chillers and Tarno Tigers picked up amateur baseball victories over the Beulah-Hazen BlackJaws on Saturday.
Shane Schoeneberg and Nick Walden combined on a four-hitter in a 9-1 Tarno victory. Schoeneberg picked up his second win of the season in as many decisions. Joey Vannett and Schoeneberg each had two hits and Luke Heck had three RBI.
Kevin Gall and Kyle Walden each had two hits in the Chillers’ 7-2 win over the BlackJaws. Jeff Gould doubled and drove in two runs, Erick Paiement doubled and scored three runs and Greg Brown picked up the win on the mound.
Tarno is now 4-3 overall, while the Chillers improved to 3-0.
