Minors charged after house party

The Dickey County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a party that was held at the home of Forbes Mayor Troy Anliker last month.

The Dickey County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a party that was held at the home of Forbes Mayor Troy Anliker last month.

Three minors who were at the party were cited for either minor in consumption or minor in possession, said Gary Neuharth, state’s attorney.

No adults have been charged, he said.

“The details and facts of what went on out there are still being investigated,” Neuharth said.

Anliker is also a member of the Ellendale Public School Board.

Anliker did not return phone calls to the Sun Monday.
