Disney train tour stopping in Fargo Wednesday

Disney’s “A Christmas Carol” train tour is pulling into Fargo Wednesday, July 15 as its only stop in North Dakota.

Disney’s “A Christmas Carol” train tour is pulling into Fargo Wednesday, July 15 as its only stop in North Dakota.

The train, which promotes the upcoming holiday movie starring Jim Carrey, will be at North Dakota State University from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will pull in at the tracks on the corner of 12th Ave. N. and 18th Street, which is near the NDSU Auxiliary building and greenhouse.

According to Walt Disney Studios this is “a once-in-a-lifetime experience where guests can get a behind-the-scenes look at the magic, the spectacle and the cutting edge technology of Disney’s “A Christmas Carol.”

The train is stopping at stations throughout the country. It consists of several exhibit cars that provide guests with an inside look at the making of the movie. There’s also a 3-D theater where guests can get a look at some selected scenes from the film.

There is no admission charge.
