G.F. officials search Red River for possible drowning victim

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Grand Forks authorities say a search of the Red River is under way for a man who disappeared while swimming.

Police say the man had been swimming with two other men when he disappeared in the water north of the Kennedy Bridge. Police say the call came in about 2 p.m., Monday.

Authorities say clothing and boots that belonged to the man were found on the Grand Forks side of the river.
