Suspect in standoff facing 5 felony charges
A man arrested after a daylong standoff with police in Fargo is facing five felony charges in state court. Leonard Ritter is charged in Cass County with two counts of terrorizing, possession of a firearm by a felon, preventing arrest and reckless endangerment. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. The 55-year-old Ritter is accused of holding police at bay for nearly nine hours at his apartment building.
