Red River rising again in Fargo
The Red River is on the rise in Fargo once again, after heavy rains earlier in the week. The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the river at Fargo, but said only minor flooding is expected.
FARGO (AP) — The Red River is on the rise in Fargo once again, after heavy rains earlier in the week.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the river at Fargo, but said only minor flooding is expected.
The river is forecast to crest Saturday morning at one foot over flood stage, and stay there into Sunday.
Earlier this spring, Fargo residents fought off two crests of the Red River — the first at a record 40.82 feet and the second at 34 feet.
