MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Timberwolves president David Kahn says he hopes to begin the second round of interviews for the coaching vacancy this weekend.
The process is being delayed by a trip to Spain. Kahn headed there on Monday to try and help Ricky Rubio negotiate a buyout of his contract with his Spanish team.
Kahn has interviewed more than a dozen candidates for the position after deciding not to bring back Kevin McHale.
