Students awarded money for college
Four Kensal Public School students received $750 each to assist with college expenses after qualifying for an Izaak Holtan Memorial Scholarship. The students are: Justin Backer, Jessee Boyle, Daisy Stoppleworth and Aaron Vigesaa, all of whom graduated from the Kensal Public School on May 22.
Four Kensal Public School students received $750 each to assist with college expenses after qualifying for an Izaak Holtan Memorial Scholarship. The students are: Justin Backer, Jessee Boyle, Daisy Stoppleworth and Aaron Vigesaa, all of whom graduated from the Kensal Public School on May 22.
The Izaak Holtan Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the Kensal Board of Education after the death of Izaak Holtan in 2007. Funds are awarded to students who attend postsecondary education. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the fund should contact the Kensal Public School at 432-2484.
