Export forum held in Minot

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — People in the international shipping business are gathering in Minot for an export forum.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — People in the international shipping business are gathering in Minot for an export forum.

It's being hosted Tuesday and Wednesday by North Dakota Port Services Inc. It also will involve the North Dakota Trade Office and other companies, including ocean carriers.

North Dakota Port Services will be giving a tour of the intermodal facility in Minot. Intermodal shipping involves large standardized containers carried on trains, trucks and ships, often over long distances to international markets.
