Jaws swim team competes in GF

The Jamestown Jaws Summer Swim Team competed in the Walleye Invitational over the weekend at the UND Hyslop Center pool in Grand Forks.

The state meet is set for July 31-Aug. 2 in Mandan. State qualifiers for the team are: Grant Curtis, Cody Lange, Jadee Lange, Chasen Miller, Jessica Moritz, Landon Ostlie, Kennedy Koch and Erin Hart.

The team is coached by Ben Smith.

Brianna Johnson (Girls 13-14): 100 back, fourth; 200 IM, first; 100 fly, fourth.

Cody Lange (Boys 8 & under): 100 breast, first; 50 free, first; 50 breast, first.

Jadee Lange (Girls 11-12): 200 free, first; 50 fly, fourth; 50 back, third.

Phillip Mangin (Boys 15-18): 200 free, fourth; 100 free, fifth; 400 free, second.
