Sen. Bryon Dorgan, D-N.D., secured the bill that provides $700,000 to the ACC and Minot State University to treat and diagnose autism spectrum disorders among children in rural North Dakota.

“Autism is a growing problem among youth in North Dakota and other rural areas, and we have an obligation to make sure children with this disorder are being diagnosed and receiving the treatment they deserve,” Dorgan said in a press release. “This program will do exactly that, and I’m proud to be able to support it.”
