Six days left to register for aid

Six days remain to register for Federal Emergency Management Agency aid. Homeowners, renters and business owners who suffered damages from flooding have until Aug. 10 to apply for disaster assistance and turn in loan applications with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Homeowners, renters and business owners who suffered damages from flooding have until Aug. 10 to apply for disaster assistance and turn in loan applications with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Those affected by the flood are not required to get a loan but the loan application helps determine eligibility for other forms of assistance.

To register call 1-800-621-3362 or TTY at 1-800-462-7585, applications can also be completed online at www.disasterassistance .gov.

As of July 31 FEMA aid in North Dakota was at $59.2 million.
