Doug Goehring will address the World Soybean Research Conference in Beijing next week.
The conference is the world's largest gathering of soybean research and industry representatives. It's held every five years. Goehring will represent the United Soybean Board at the conference.
He says he plans to talk about how new technology and sustainable farming practices will enable the United States to meet the world's increasing demand for soybeans and soybean products.
Goehring also will meet with Chinese officials in Beijing and South Korean officials in Seoul on behalf of the North Dakota Trade Office.
