Wendel wins top award at shoot
Todd Wendel was Hi Overall Trophy winner at the Memorial Hall of Honor Shoot held at the Buffalo City Gun Club in Jamestown Aug. 8. Wendel won the Handicap medium yardage shoot with a score of 97. He also won the Class A Doubles event with a mark of 96. Overall, Wendel connected on 293 of 300 shots.

John Eiler won the Class B 16-yard singles shoot and the short-yardage competition.
Other champions in 16-yard singles were James Howard (Class A), Chad Price (Class C), Bruce Birkeland (Class D) and Patrick Bosh (Junior).
Eiler, Wendel and Steve Bonderud (long yardage) won in the handicap division.
Other Doubles winners were Randy Goldade (Class B) and Jim Heinrich (Class C).
