Windfest Days set in Kulm

Kulm, N.D., is planning its sixth annual Windfest Days celebration this weekend. The event will begin Friday with a steak fry from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the golf course.

The event will begin Friday with a steak fry from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the golf course.

Saturday’s events kick off with a 5K Walk/Run, which will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the elementary school. Those interested in participating should call Marsha at 701-647-2448.

A scavenger hunt is set for 8 a.m. A children’s parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by the main parade at 10 a.m.

The demolition derby and the first performance of the melodrama will both begin at 1 p.m. The melodrama will have a second performance at 6:45 p.m. Inflatable games for children and a corn feed plus entertainment begin at 3 p.m.

Lena will perform at 4 p.m., and at 8 p.m. there will be a pie auction and a mechanical bull. At 9 p.m., there will be a dance featuring the band Backstage Pass.
