UPDATE: UND says white powder was flour

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — University of North Dakota officials say a white powdery substance found in a parking ramp elevator and on campus sidewalks Monday turned out to be harmless.

University spokeswoman Jan Orvik says the powder was determined to be flour.

UND safety officials and Grand Forks firefighters investigated the powder.
