USDA: More money for Forest Service
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — The U.S. Department of Agriculture says more economic stimulus funding is being released for 105 U.S. Forest Service projects in South Dakota and 35 other states.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — The U.S. Department of Agriculture says more economic stimulus funding is being released for 105 U.S. Forest Service projects in South Dakota and 35 other states.
In a release, the USDA said the money will help restore natural resources while improving public safety and creating job opportunities in economically distressed areas.
South Dakota has five projects funded for a total of almost $5.3 million.
