Former Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal standout Cale Thomas has signed a Dakota Athletic Conference Letter of Intent to attend Jamestown College and play basketball.
Thomas, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound guard, averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists last season as a senior for the Rebels. He was a two-time all-District 5 selection and was named the District 5 Senior Athlete of the Year in 2009. He also was named to the Jamestown Sun All-Area Team.
“Cale is a great kid with a strong work ethic,” JC men’s basketball coach Jeff Trumbauer said. “We are happy that he decided to join our family.”
He is the son of Redge Nohrendberg and LeAnn Thomas.
