Mikey Hoeven to chair leadership committee

North Dakota first lady Mikey Hoeven has recently been named chair of the National Governors Association Spouses Leadership Committee.

North Dakota first lady Mikey Hoeven has recently been named chair of the National Governors Association Spouses Leadership Committee.

She was elected by her peers and will focus her year-long term on wellness and prevention issues.

Hoeven is active on issues affecting women and children in North Dakota. In 2001 she launched a state-wide program to combat underage drinking. Hoeven is also co-chair of Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free.
