The LaMoure County Summer Musical Theater seeks volunteers for a clean-up day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Volunteers may help in any capacity and for any amount of time. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, hammers, electric drills or any other materials that may assist in flood recovery and clean up. Lunch will be provided for volunteers.
“If you can only come for an hour or cannot do much physical labor, we can still use your help,” said Lauren Brandenburg, clean-up organizer.
The LaMoure theater in Grand Rapids, N.D., filled with water from the James River last spring. Once waters receded, inspectors deemed the building structurally sound and safe from chemicals, Brandenburg said. However, the building still needs work and cleaning so it will be ready for next summer’s theater season, she said.
For more information contact Brandenburg at 701-269-1311.
