Minot fire might be case of arson

Authorities believe an early morning fire that destroyed two mobile homes on Minot’s east edge might have been a case of arson. Ward County Sheriff’s Capt. Todd Keller said his department and the state fire marshal’s office are investigating the blaze that started shortly after 1 a.m. Friday.

MINOT (AP) — Authorities believe an early morning fire that destroyed two mobile homes on Minot’s east edge might have been a case of arson.

Ward County Sheriff’s Capt. Todd Keller said his department and the state fire marshal’s office are investigating the blaze that started shortly after 1 a.m. Friday.

One home was destroyed and a neighboring home damaged. No one was hurt.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them, and say a cash reward might be available.
