Authorities identify man killed in crash

The Highway Patrol has identified a Good-rich man who was killed in a collision with a semitrailer.

SYKESTON, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol has identified a Good-rich man who was killed in a collision with a semitrailer.

Authorities said 24-year-old Brandon Heinrich died early Monday when he failed to yield at a U.S. Highway 52 intersection in Sykeston. A 42-year-old woman passenger in his car, Michelle Shelton of Potosie, Mo., was injured.

The patrol said the semi and the car had stopped at the intersection about 2 a.m. Monday, and the car headed to U.S. 52 but failed to yield to the semi. Both vehicles went in the ditch.

The semi driver, identified as 44-year-old Duane Teel of Bland-insville, Ill., was not hurt.
