S.D. gets money for nutrition education
South Dakota is among 18 states getting a total of $5.8 million in U.S. Department of Agriculture grants to help children develop good nutrition and physical activity habits. South Dakota’s share is $350,000. The USDA said the money provides schools with nutrition education materials for children and parents as well as technical aid for communities and school food service providers.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — South Dakota is among 18 states getting a total of $5.8 million in U.S. Department of Agriculture grants to help children develop good nutrition and physical activity habits.
South Dakota’s share is $350,000.
