Patrol identifies teen killed in crash

The Highway Patrol has released the name of a teenager killed after the pickup she was driving rolled over in a McLean County ditch.

DOUGLAS, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol has released the name of a teenager killed after the pickup she was driving rolled over in a McLean County ditch.

The patrol said 16-year-old Chelsey Lies of Douglas lost control of the pickup after she served to avoid a dog.

Authorities said the crash happened about two miles southeast of Douglas, shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday. A 14-year-old passenger, Cody Lies of Douglas, was not hurt.
