Walhalla gets industrial park money

The northeastern North Dakota community of Walhalla is getting $431,000 in federal money to help build an industrial park.

WALHALLA, N.D. (AP) — The northeastern North Dakota community of Walhalla is getting $431,000 in federal money to help build an industrial park.

The state's congressional delegation says the grant through the U.S. Department of Commerce will be used for road, sewer and water infrastructure to help attract private businesses.

Officials estimate the industrial park will create more than 200 jobs and leverage $38 million in private investment.
