Man's body recovered from St. Croix River
STILLWATER, Minn. (AP) — The body of a swimmer has been recovered from the St. Croix River near Stillwater.

Authorities say the man had been on a rented pontoon boat with four friends Sunday evening and decided to go for a swim, then disappeared. Washington County sheriff's officials got a call about 6 p.m. of a person going under near P.D. Pappy's, a bar and grill near Stillwater.
Area dive teams recovered the man's body near the Stillwater lift bridge on the Wisconsin side of the river about 9 p.m. Sunday.
