Wolves, Imperials still No. 1 in rankings

Watford City and Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter remain atop the North Dakota Class A and nine-man football polls this week.
The Wolves (3-0) got nine of 11 first-place votes in the Class A poll. Velva (3-0) moved up two spots to No. 2. No. 3 Hazen (3-0) got two first-place votes.
In the nine-man poll, the Imperials (3-0) got five of 10 first-place votes to edge Mott-Regent (3-0) in the balloting. The Wildfire (3-0) got four first-place votes while Wells County (3-0) got one.
Kidder County (4-0) remained at No 5 this week.
