Padgett to sing at First Assembly

Cissy Padgett of Helena, Mont., will present a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at the First Assembly of God Church at 1720 Eighth Ave. S. Padgett’s musical style spans from contemporary to Southern gospel. Her theme is “Music with a Mission.”

“Singing music with a powerful message of God’s love has always been a major part of my life and through that channel I fulfill my heart’s desire to worship him,” she said.

She has made several recordings. Her most recent CD, “Broken and Restored,” is now available. She and her husband, Bill, have made several overseas trips. She raises funds through her concerts to help in her overseas projects.
