Riverside landscaping nearing completion

The Jamestown City Engineer’s office said Friday that the contractor hired to do landscaping along the James River was almost done.

TheThe Jamestown City Engineer’s office said Friday that the contractor hired to do landscaping along the James River and Pipestem Creek was almost done. The office said the grading, seed-bed preparation, seeding, fertilizing, mulching and hydro-seeding of lawns disrupted by flood-fighting efforts this spring should be completed on Monday.

If residents have property- or lawn-restoration concerns relating to this work, they should contact the City Engineer’s Office by Thursday. The office, which can be reached at 701-252-5900, will review and relay the areas of concern to the contractor prior to finalization of the project.
