Uffda Day set in Rutland Oct. 4
Rutland is celebrating its Scandinavian heritage with Uffda Day Sunday, Oct. 4. Uffda Day includes traditional entertainment, food, demonstrations and activities. It starts with a parade at noon.
Rutland is celebrating its Scandinavian heritage with Uffda Day Sunday, Oct. 4.
Uffda Day includes traditional entertainment, food, demonstrations and activities. It starts with a parade at noon.
Also planned are demonstrations and the sale of ethnic foods at Nordland Church Parish Hall and a quilt show at the church.
The day also features pioneer demonstrations, antique tractor and car shows, horse drawn rides, arts and crafts sales and musical entertainment. The Pioneer House and Museum will be open. And Rutland’s “Famous Scalloped Potatoes” will be served at City Hall from 11 a.m. on.
