Fargo apartment fire kills man
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — One person is dead in an apartment building fire in Fargo.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — One person is dead in an apartment building fire in Fargo.
Assistant Fire Chief Steve Balstad says the blaze happened late Wednesday and was confined to a corner apartment on the building's third floor.
Fire Capt. Randy Weiss says the man who died was found outside his apartment in the hallway. Weiss says the man died as a result of the fire. Authorities did not immediately release his name.
Weiss says the cause of the fire is still being investigated. Damage to the building is estimated at $80,000.
