Police say a man is facing charges after leading police on a weekend motorcycle chase that reached speeds of 150 mph. Sidney Lauver III of Minot was arrested just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
MINOT (AP) — Police say a man is facing charges after leading police on a weekend motorcycle chase that reached speeds of 150 mph.
Sidney Lauver III of Minot was arrested just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Surrey Police said Lauver was clocked at 70 mph in a 25 mph zone, and headed toward Minot on U.S. Highway 2 when police tried to stop him.
Police said Lauver finally pulled over and surrendered in east Minot. He faces charges that include reckless driving, drunken driving and fleeing, as well as a $400 fine for speeding.
