Ice House Dam gates opened today for Reclamation construction activities

The gates at the Ice House Dam will be opened today to facilitate the Bureau of Reclamation’s construction activities at the Jamestown Reservoir.

The gates at the Ice House Dam will be opened today to facilitate the Bureau of Reclamation’s construction activities at the Jamestown Reservoir.

The gates on the ice house dam will remain open for the next 3-4 weeks to facilitate these construction activities and to allow the public time to cleanup the river side of their property.

After the three- to four-week period, weather permitting, the gates will again be closed for the winter.
