Suspect ID’d in N.D., S.D. bank robberies
Authorities say a man who killed himself after allegedly robbing a North Dakota bank at gunpoint last month is believed to be the man who robbed a bank in Redfield in March 2008.
REDFIELD, S.D. (AP) — Authorities say a man who killed himself after allegedly robbing a North Dakota bank at gunpoint last month is believed to be the man who robbed a bank in Redfield in March 2008.
Authorities have linked 42-year-old James Krimm of Valley City, N.D., to robberies in recent years in Jamestown and Williston in North Dakota, Redfield and Watertown in South Dakota and the Minnesota town of Dilworth.
After the bank robbery in Williston on Sept. 14, Krimm led police on a chase for more than five hours, going into Montana, then back into North Dakota before killing himself in a field after the stolen pickup he was driving got stuck.
