AAUW to hold meeting today
The Jamestown Branch of American Association of University Women will meet at 7 p.m. today for its next branch meeting. The meeting will be at the Unruh Sheldon Business Center, room 134, on the campus of Jamestown College. Parking is available east of building or across the street (west) at the Reiland Fine Arts Center.
The Jamestown Branch of American Association of University Women will meet at 7 p.m. today for its next branch meeting. Alex Woodruff, James-town College senior, will discuss her experience at the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders. Woodruff was the recipient of a scholarship from the branch to attend the conference in Maryland. Ellen Linderman, AAUW – Jamestown Branch member, will share her experience related to attending President Barack Obama’s speech on health care reform. There will be a short business meeting following the program including a discussion on suggested changes to the branch bylaws.
Volunteers are needed to help with trick or treating on Halloween, Oct. 31, at the Prairie School House, Frontier Village and the Used Book Store, Buffalo Mall.
